Getting around the control plane

Everything belongs to an account: clusters, invoices and members. If you belong to more than one, the account switcher decides what the rest of the UI shows. Check it before you go looking for a “missing” cluster.

Search spans accounts, clusters, pools and nodes, so you can jump straight to a node by name without walking down the hierarchy.

Account → Members lists who has access.

  • Invite sends an email invitation. The invitee joins the account once they accept.
  • Removing a member revokes their access to the account, but does not revoke cluster credentials they already downloaded. Delete those separately under the cluster’s Credentials tab.

Account → API keys manages credentials for the Hyperkub API.

  • The key is shown once, at creation. Store it immediately.
  • Issue one key per integration, so a single key can be revoked without breaking everything else.
  • Deleting a key takes effect immediately.

Notifications report things that happened asynchronously — provisioning finishing, a node being replaced, a payment failing. Worth checking when a cluster does not reach running in the expected time.

Account → Invoices holds issued invoices. Per-cluster spend is on each cluster’s overview; the invoice is the account-wide total.
